US fest to screen 'The Fog'

Iranian short 'The Fog' has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 2nd edition of the Saint Cloud Film Fest in the US.

The short film, co-directed by Ali Shourvarzi and Hossein Mahrouqi, is to attend the competition section of the US film event.

The film narrates the story of a corpse washer who has not washed any dead bodies since she lost her own kid.

Unexpected turn of events puts her in circumstances that makes her go back to her old job.

Niloufar Khosh-Kholq, Siamak Adib and Qorban Najafi are some of the flick's cast members.

The Saint Cloud Film Fest promotes film and filmmakers by creating opportunities for education, production, and appreciation during an annual festival and through year-long outreach.

From live action to animation, documentary to avant-garde, all filmmakers will have a place and a voice at this film festival.

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for November 3-10, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, the US.
